On Arrival

The Club is located on Guisborough Road, Saltburn by the Sea. Please use TS12 1NJ for your satnav. Our main car park is situated in front of the Clubhouse with parking available for visitors to the right. If this is full, you can use our overspill car park on the opposite side of the road. Please be aware that cars and belongings are left at the owner’s risk and the club accepts no responsibility for theft or accidental damage however it is caused. Disabled parking is available. Contact us in advance of your visit so we can make sure your requirements are catered for.

Please arrive in good time and check in with the Pro Shop before starting your round. In the event of adverse weather, please check the course safety status on 01287 622812 Ex1 before traveling.

Security

Golf bags, clothing and shoes may be left in the locker rooms as appropriate. However, the Club does not accept any responsibility for loss of or damage to any items left unattended. In the interest of security, golf clubs should be returned to the boot of your car after play. Any items left in the locker room overnight, other than in a locker, will initially be removed to lost property and, if not claimed within 3 months, disposed of.

Buggies

We have golf buggies available for hire. Please contact the Pro Shop directly to book these on 01287 622812 Ex 4. Players wishing to use their own ride-on buggies must show proof of insurance to the Pro Shop before play. The use of the buggy may be restricted at any time in relation to weather conditions. If you are relying on a buggy to play, you should check the course status by ringing the Club on 01287 622812 Ex 1.

Standard of Dress

Saltburn Golf Club aims to operate a modern and forward-thinking dress code policy so that members, guests & visitors can enjoy the Course and Clubhouse. The standard of dress can be summarised as being ‘Smart Casual’. You are respectfully requested to follow the dress code.

Etiquette

Etiquette is the manner in which the game of golf should be played. The overriding principle is that consideration should be shown to others on the course at all times. All players should conduct themselves in a disciplined manner, demonstrating courtesy and sportsmanship at all times.

Mobile Phones

In the interests of others, whilst on the course or in the clubhouse, mobile phones should be set to silent or vibrate. On the course they should only be used in emergencies and in the clubhouse, please go to a quiet area so as not to disturb others.

Course Safety

For your own welfare and the protection of others, please be advised of our Course Safety guidance. Take some time to familiarise yourself with our local risks.

Care of the Course

Please make sure the course is just as nice for everyone else after you have passed by. Replace your divots, repair pitch marks on the greens, smooth your footprints after playing your shot in the bunker and keep your trolley or buggy away from greens, tees and bunkers.

The Clubhouse

Toilets are available in the Clubhouse and at the Half-Way House on the 12th. Drinks and light bites are served daily. Please call 01287 622812 Ex 3 for full menu details.

Practice Facilities

Saltburn Golf Club’s Practice Facilities are situated across the road from the Clubhouse. Balls for the driving range can be purchased in the Pro Shop. There is also a putting green available.

Juniors

Juniors under the age of 12 should be accompanied by an adult whilst on the course.
