Visitors are requested to respect the following dress code.
THE FOLLOWING DRESS RULES APPLY TO ALL MEMBERS, GUESTS AND VISITORS.
MEMBERS ARE REMINDED THAT THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ENSURING THAT
THEIR GUESTS COMPLY WITH THESE RULES.
ON THE COURSE
- Golf shoes of an approved pattern with either spikes or rubber soles are the only acceptable footwear.
- Trousers must not be tucked into socks unless worn under waterproofs (Plus 2 and Plus 4 trousers with appropriate long socks are acceptable).
- Shirts and Blouses must have a collar. Roll neck sweaters are permitted.
- Shirts must be tucked into waistband.
- Shorts are permitted during the Summer but they must be tailored and no more than three inches above the knee.
- When wearing shorts, Gentlemen must wear socks that cover the calf or white ankle sport socks.
- The following are not considered appropriate:
- Denims.
- Jeans of any colour or description.
- Sleeveless shirts for men.
- Football shirts.
- Tracksuits, leggings, tracksuit tops or jogging trousers.
- Training shoes.
- Wearing of caps back to front is not allowed.
IN THE CLUBHOUSE
- Normally dress should be 'smart, casual' However, for a number of events more formal wear will be necessary when collar, tie and jacket and equivalent appropriate dress for Ladies will be necessary This would normally be for events such as Presentation Nights, Formal Dinners, Captain's Nights. Dinner Dances and for those occasions when indicated.
- Tailored shorts with appropriate knee length hose are permitted in the Clubhouse during Summer but they are NOT permitted after 7.00pm.
- Shirts with collars, blouses for Ladies and roll neck sweaters are permitted.
- The following are not permitted in the Clubhouse:
- Those items listed above as not being acceptable on the Course.
- Any form of Golf Shoe (except in the Locker Rooms).
- Hats, Caps, Sun Visors.
- Waterproof clothing / Windcheaters (except in the Locker Rooms).
