How To Join

INTRODUCTORY MEMBERSHIP SCHEME

We have introduced an introductory membership scheme where a prospective member can join for 3 months at advantageous rates of £60 in the period October to March inclusive, and £90 for the period April to September. At the end of 3 months you will have to decide whether to join or not. If you decide to join, the fees paid will be taken off the joining fee.

During the period of your Introductory Membership you will have full membership rights, except that you will not be able to play in the Club's Saturday competition, nor book a start time for a Saturday.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Saltburn Golf Club has a very active playing membership of about 525 men, 90 ladies and 100 juniors. While the club has a very successful record in Teesside, where we are the current Division 1 champions and also in Yorkshire where we are the only Division 1 club in the North of the county, we offer full competitive golf for all sections and all abilities.

We also run several friendly golfing events and a varied social calendar.

We welcome applicants for membership, whether by invitation of existing members or if you don’t know anyone at Saltburn please contact the secretary.

The annual fees are shown below and our objective is to offer facilities that are among the best in the area, but to achieve this with annual fees that are less than the average of similar clubs in the area.

There is a one off joining fee, the payment of which can be spread over three years.

We invite you to play the course before you join and all green fees paid in the previous 6 months will be deducted from the joining fee.

Membership Information

Individual

For 2010 the fees for individual membership, which is open to men and ladies are as follows. Payment can be made using Fairway Credit, spreading the cost over 6 or 10 months, at a small interest rate :

Men full 7 days membership - £575

Joining fee - £425

Men 5 day membership - £471

Joining fee £325

Ladies full membership - £506

Joining fee £360

The one off joining fee is payable over 3 years.

Joint

There is a family reduction of £10 per person.

Young Adult (17 - 18 and those in full time education)

Saltburn is keen to encourage it's younger membership and the following rates apply for 2010 (there is no joining fee):

17/18 and in full time education - £105 for 7 day membership

17/18 and employed £240 for 7 day membership

Over 18 and in full time education - £240 for 7 day membership

Juniors (Up to 16)

Saltburn has a very active junior section and we are always keen to encourage new young members. We were one of the first clubs in the country to introduce a section for youngsters aged 12 and below (Seagulls) and they meet regularly through the winter playing indoor golf related games.
