Saltburn Golf Club is ideally situated on the outskirts of Saltburn, which itself is a pleasant seaside town with a famous pier, a ride on narrow gauge railway and a cliff side rail carriage driven by water.
Access to the course easy as there is dual carriageway from the A19 to within less than two miles of the course.
From the A19 travelling from the North take the A174 signposted Whitby,Redcar, Teesport and Wilton. From the South take the A174 signposted Redcar and other places. Stay on the A174 heading towards Redcar for about 8 miles and at the 6th roundabout, named Quarry Lane Roundabout, turn right along the A174 towards Skelton. After about 800 yards turn left at the traffic lights onto the C1268 and the course is about 1 mile along the C1268 on the right hand side.
An alternative attractive route from the south is leave the A19 at "The Cleveland Tontine" and join the A172 heading towards Stokesley. From Stokesley take the A173 to Guisborough, the ancient capital of Cleveland. Leave Guisborough on the A173 and after just over a mile turn left over a narrow brige, signposted Upleatham. This is the C1268 and from here it is about 2 miles to Saltburrn and the Golf Club, going straight across at one set of traffic lights.
The nearest mainline station is Darlington, from where there is a regular local service to Saltburn. The station is about 10 to 15 minutes from the Golf Club.
There is ample parking for members and visitors at the Golf Club.
